HOMEMADE WALNUT AND CRANBERRY GRANOLA

Store bought granola can tend to get a little pricey if you go through it as fast as my husband does ! Making homemade granola can help save you a lot of money and it only takes a few minutes. This recipe is so versatile, you can add any dried fruits of your choice! You will need ...

4 cups dried oats
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup walnuts
1/3 cup of slivered almonds
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Pour the oats, honey and olive oil in a bowl and mix together. In an even layer place oat mixture on a baking tray and sprinkle with your walnuts and almonds. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Half way through take out of oven and stir it around than lay it evenly in pan again and place back in oven for the remainder of the time. When its finished sprinkle with your dried cranberries, let cool and than place in a Jar . Enjoy!
